Althea T. Kippes is Broker of record for BRG, an attorney, and gerontologist who helps her clients and investors buy, sell or develop residential real estate. As an experienced attorney, Althea focuses on the legal aspects of the real estate transaction, both in avoiding liability and negotiating the best terms for her clients. 

Althea began her legal career as a federal court litigator at a small boutique law firm in San Francisco. She handled a number of high-profile cases involving complex contract disputes, business litigation, and real estate matters.

After earning a master’s degree in Gerontology, Althea focused her real estate practice on meeting the needs of older adults and their families. As a Gerontologist, Certified Senior Advisor®, and Seniors Real Estate Specialist® Althea understands the challenges facing older adults and creates comprehensive solutions. Althea’s experience in estate planning and luxury retirement communities are an asset to her clients.

Althea is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and Golden Gate University School of Law. She also holds a Master’s degree in Gerontology from San Francisco State University.
